The proposed redevelopment includes: a 3-story parking deck for 90 cars, replacing a single-story building with a three-story building, and adding a third and fourth story to two existing buildings. Retail/restaurant use is proposed for the ground level floor area, 19 residential units are planned for the second, third and fourth floors. Vehicular access is proposed from Roberson Street and pedestrian access from West Franklin Street and Roberson Street.

The Town has received a request for review of a Concept Plan submittal that is located at 431 W. Franklin St. on the corner of W. Franklin Street and S. Roberson Street.
The 1.06-acre site is located in the Town Center-2 zoning district and is identified as Orange County Parcel Identifier Number 9788-15-3958. The Chapel Hill Town Council will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 16, in the Council Chamber of Town Hall, 405 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.
