Retirement Community to offer a Holistic Approach

A ground breaking ceremony for Cambridge Village of Apex North Carolina was held yesterday, near the new Walmart, at the intersection of Apex Peakway and South Hughes street. Apex Mayor Keith Weatherly, developer Kendall Oliver and Robert Stephenson turned the dirt over to kick off the construction of the $55 million dollar active seniors community. Phase one of the project will include 90 apartments and a 28,000 sqft community center, as well as a wellness center, indoor pool and theater. The community will eventually have 284 apartments when phases 2 and 3 are completed on 14.61 acres of land, scheduled for completion in the Fall of 2011.
